OMG, I suddenly remembered that this existed, and I dropped everything I was doing (aka nothing) to watch it for the millionth time (but first time in a long-ass time).

Oh, how I wish to be on set with these people

“It rained something horrible last Sunday and they didn’t put a tent over the red carpet so we got SOAKED on our way into the awards.  Luckily they set up a little hair and makeup touch-up stand in the ladies bathroom.  I got a free lipstick! My favorite part of the dinner was sitting next to my BFF Angela Kinsey all night.  We did a lot of star gazing.  At one point we tried to go to the bathroom but got stuck in a little traffic jam that included Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Colin Farrell and Tom Hanks.  We were pinching ourselves and trying to act normal when we came upon Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.  It was all very surreal.  After the show we went upstairs to the NBC Universal Party where a few of us celebrated our loss by doing shots of tequila.  That helped.”

Office cast members at last nights SAG Awards, 23 Jan 2010

B.J. Novak done good! — Won SAG Award for “Oustanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture” for Inglourious Basterds

Inglourious Basterds win also highlighted the fact Brad Pitt was a no-show for the night and awkwardly brought the rumors to the forefront of last nights awards show. Whether or not they did “break up” or whether or not you care, it did make for Office style awkwardness with the press:

‘Inglourious Basterds’ Stars Silent on Brad Pitt’s Whereabouts at SAG Awards

After happily chirping about the fact that director Quentin Tarantino was probably downstairs “getting drunk,” how they watched Brad Pitt the night before in Clooney’s Haiti Telethon and how much they all like each other, the cast suddenly fell silent when Pop Tarts asked why Mr. Pitt wasn’t present at the special ceremony.

‘You’ve got Jacky Ido (a fellow cast member) all the way from France,’ Eli Roth eventually said to break the awkward silence.

6.14 “The Banker” (Clip Show)

“Next week we start shooting the birth episodes!  I’ve read part one and I love it.  I know what we are having!!!!  Here’s a crazy coincidence - my sister, Emily, is also due to give birth next week.  My parents will be having both of their daughters in labor - one real and one fake!  I know not everyone loved the clip show tonight but I have to say I liked it.  It brought back a lot of happy memories of working with a great cast and crew over these many years.  And, it made me want to go back and watch some old episodes - like Health Care with all the fake diseases! “

And so, the episode ends with Dunder Mifflin’s fate unknown. But Michael isn’t worried:“I think our future is very bright. We’ve only just begun.”
